Scott Brantley Biography

Born and raised in East Dublin, Georgia, a town with a population of just under 3,000 people, Scott grew up in the heart of blue collar America in a musically gifted family. That is what Scott says helped shape his "Country-Country" sound. When asked about it, Scott says, "<I'd say I'm just like any of the folks of East Dublin, and this entire listening audience and fan base for that matter, we’re middle class—working class—and my sound, dedication and values mirror that character to the letter—character built in America, a Brantley way of life.”

Scott is an accomplished songwriter who has collaborated with Carson Chamberlain, Mike Dekle, Wade Kirby, Jimmy Yeary, Bernie Nelson, and lots more. Proving himself to be a real high-energy performer, he has opened for acts such as Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Jamey Johnson, Jerrod Niemann, Tracy Lawrence and many others. He was also the frontman of an award winning band who was named "Georgia Artist of they Year" and three-time "Georgia Country Band of the Year".

After signing a publishing, artist development and recording deal with Studio Gold Nashville, Scott's first single, “Good Thing Going”, was released to country radio in late 2015. “Good Thing Going” was inspired by how opposites can attract and work well in a relationship, and with the use of Scott's witty verses and sing-a-long chorus, the song has been praised by fans, media outlets, and radio stations. “Good Thing Going” charted at #54 on the Music Row charts and was played at radio stations all across the United States.

His second single, “How Summer Goes” was just released to country radio in June 2016. It perfectly describes the summer love that you know is going to end once the summer ends.

With the opening line you are taken back to a simpler place in time, recalling a summer love that ended too soon. Ain’t it funny how 90 days can hit you like a tidal wave when you’re standing there knowing that it’s gotta end.”

With a big thanks to his family and support system, Scott is moving full speed ahead with his career. Thankfully, my family is my biggest support system and they know my goal to become successful in country music is to fulfill a childhood dream of mine, a dream they have come to share with me. They realize how much I love to play country music, and without the support of my wife and my son and daughter, I just couldn't do this. They love me more than I could ever probably return to them, and they want me to succeed at what I'm doing. That means more to me than some can understand. It's that drive to make them happy is what will make me work harder each time I pick up a guitar."

Scott Brantley is a family man, the father of 2 small children: daughter Adriana, and a newborn son, Whitley. He is a true “Southern Gentleman” with genuine down south roots. The same values that country music was founded on. When listening to his music, it's clear to see the influence some of his favorite artists had on him, including Merle Haggard, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley. This Georgia native promises to bring his "country-country" music to the forefront and makes it appealing to all ages.
